Biochar that proves itself.

SaveAsBiochar records every truck, weighment, reactor run and bag as it happens, so your credits hold up in any audit.

How it works

Records shown are examples.

  1. It starts with what the harvest leaves behind.

Rice husk, left over from the harvest, rolls in by the truckload.

    • Trip started

      Rice husk, inbound

    • Live route

      Signal

  2. Weighed the moment it arrives.

The weighbridge slip is photographed and the server works out the net weight itself.

    • Weighment

      Inbound, carrier RH/01

      Gross
      24.62 t
      Tare
      11.08 t
      Net
      13.54 t
  3. Every load keeps its origin.

Each receipt is tied to the supplier and the source it came from.

    • Receipt R-0913

      Rice husk into bay 01

      Net
      13.54 t
      Supplier
      Farm cluster 12
      Source
      Ludhiana, field 7
  4. Charred, not burned.

In the reactor, heat with little air drives off the gases and leaves solid carbon behind.

    • Reactor run

      Reactor 01, running

      Top
      512 °C
      Centre
      604 °C
      Bottom

      Logged
      every minute
  5. Sampled, sealed, labelled.

Samples are sealed and labelled at the station, so every lab result points to its batches.

    • Sample S-2231

      Sealed and labelled

      Batch
      B-0930-2
      Sealed

  6. Every bag weighed and tagged.

Cooled biochar is bagged, weighed and tagged, so each bag carries its own history.

    • Bag 0417

      Weighed and tagged

      Weight
      812 kg
      Batch
      B-0930-2
  7. Weighed again on the way out.

The outbound weight closes the loop: what left the plant matches what was made.

    • Dispatch D-0118

      Biochar, outbound

      Net
      9.84 t
      To
      Farm cluster 4, Sangrur
  8. And the next load is already in.

The work never stops, and neither does the record: who did what, when, on which phone.

    • Receipt R-0914

  9. One plant. One unbroken record.

From the field to the bag, every step is linked and ready for an auditor.

The gasifier with its reactor cut open and the fire glowing inside.

Look inside the reactor.

A continuous gasifier, the kind small plants run. Turn it, open it, and tap any part to see what it does and what gets recorded.

The gasifier with its parts drawn apart.
  • Feed hopper

Corn cobs wait here. The hopper sits on a load cell, so every kilo fed in is weighed.

    Recorded Feed weight, continuously

  • Bucket elevator

Lifts the feed to the top of the reactor.

    Recorded Running time

  • Double airlock

Two gates open in turn, so feed goes in and air stays out.

    Recorded Gate cycles

  • Reactor, top zone

About 500 °C. The feed dries and begins to char.

    Recorded Temperature, every minute

  • Reactor, centre zone

About 600 °C. Gases leave the feed and the carbon stays.

    Recorded Temperature, every minute

  • Reactor, bottom zone

About 750 °C, the hottest zone, where air is let in.

    Recorded Temperature, every minute

  • Air blowers

Feed just enough air to hold the heat, never enough to burn it all.

    Recorded Blower speed

  • Rotating grate

Turns slowly and lets finished char fall through.

    Recorded Grate speed

  • Collection and discharge screws

Carry the hot biochar out while water cools it.

Recorded Biochar out, and its temperature

  • Water cooling

Pumps and a cooling tower keep the discharge cool.

Recorded Water in and out temperatures

  • Gas outlet and cyclone

Gas leaves here and drops most of its dust.

    Recorded Gas temperature

  • Control panel

A touchscreen and six temperature controllers run the plant.

Recorded Read straight from the panel. Nobody retypes a number.

A carbon credit pays for carbon kept out of the sky. It only pays when you can prove it.

200+

Puro.earth issues biochar credits as CORC200+: carbon stored for several centuries, well beyond 200 years.

A corn cob turned to biochar: the same shape, now solid carbon.

Registries like Puro.earth ask where every load came from, how each batch was made and where every bag went. A gap in the records is a gap in the credits.

Built for the plant floor.

  • The carrier on the road

    Works where the signal doesn’t.

Drivers and ground staff record on an Android phone. With no signal nothing is lost; it syncs when they are back in range.

  • The truck on the weighbridge

    Every number shows its working.

Net weights and totals show how they were worked out, so an auditor can check them in seconds.

  • The sampling station

    Nothing is quietly changed.

A correction never overwrites. It becomes a new version, with who made it and when.

  • The bags at dispatch

    Ready for Puro.earth.

Evidence is organised the way the Puro Standard asks, from the field to the bag.

Made for the people who make biochar.

  • Plant owners.

Stop losing credits to paperwork. Your team records the work once, on their phones, and the file your auditor needs builds itself.

  • Credit buyers.

Trace every credit back to the truck, the reactor run and the bag it came from.

  • Auditors.

Follow the evidence in the order the work happened, with every change on the record.
